Spyro Reignited Trilogy Officially Revealed, Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

After months of rumors and speculation, Activision finally unveiled Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Like the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, Spyro's remastered title will feature the first 3 games in the franchise; Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. It'll feature HD graphics but remain faithful to the original games. However, new changes include Orb Challenges, mini-games, and more.

In addition, the developers behind the Spyro spinoff series Skylanders, Toys for Bob will be working on an updated control system and resolve the game's original camera issues.

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on September 21, 2018, for $39.99. No confirmation has been made for the Nintendo Switch but rumors have been sprouting up and considering that Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is coming to the Nintendo Switch it's possible that the game needs more time before it can be officially confirmed.
