Terraria Coming to Stadia Despite Previous Claims
Terraria hits 35 million sales and will arrive on Stadia
News by Grayshadow on Mar 22, 2021
Back in early February Andrew Spinks, the founder of developer Re-Logic, decided to canceled Terraria on Stadia after losing access to his Google account. It seems that Google has resolved the issue and now the game is coming to Stadia after all.
Considering Stadia's recent downfall from a primary gaming service to a third-party distributor means having any popular game is paramount to this struggling service. Especially for a game that just hit 35 million sales.
Terraria has officially exceeded 35 Million copies sold across all platforms!
As of the end of 2020...
17.2 Million sold on PC
8.5 Million sold on Consoles
9.3 Million sold on Mobile devices
The game is now available on Stadia with all the content released since the game debuted on the PC in 2011 including Journey's End. Terraria is also available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS3, PS4, PS5, Switch, mobile devices, and PC.
