The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Releasing With 16 free DLCs for everyone!

CD Projekt RED is giving 16 pieces of DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on any platform regardless of when you purchase the game

If you’re worried about the growing demand of in-game purchases you’ll be glad that you’re not alone. CD Projekt RED’s CEO and co-founder, Marcin Iwinski, who released an open letter conveying the company’s love for video games and getting free content. In response to this growing trend Iwinski revealed that those who purchase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive 16 specially prepared DLCs for free regardless of the platform or when you decide to buy the game, this includes digital or physical, standard or collector’s edition. Iwinski goes on to state that “Gamers are entitled to free DLC regardless of obtaining the game via pre-order or after launch”.

The 16 pieces of DLC will release on a weekly basis following the game’s release with the first bundle coming on February 25, it’ll include a set of horse armor called the Temerian Armor Set and a Beard and Hairstyle Set for Geralt, the game’s protagonist. The second bundle will contain an alternative look for Yennefer of Vengerberg, one of the game’s main characters, and an additional quest called Missing Miners where Geralt investigates why Miners from a small Skellige are vanishing.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to release on February 24, 2015 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
