You Don't Need PlayStation Plus to Play the Battlefield 1 Beta

The price of PlayStation Plus is going up but if you're still unwilling to invest in Sony's premium service you can still play the Battlefield 1 beta.

The open beta will begin this Wednesday, August 31st on all platforms. If you're an insider member you can play the beta 24 hours earlier. 

An inquisitive fan asked if the beta would be free for everyone, even those without PS Plus memberships, to which the developers confirmed that it'll be free regardless if you have PS Plus or not. This hasn't been confirmed for Xbox One users as of yet.
