Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Guide | How to Get the Basic Sword

In the Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map of Black Ops 6 Zombies, you can acquire a sword and later upgrade it into an elemental version. In this guide, I'll go over how you can get your hands on the basic sword and choose its element.

Firstly, you'll want to follow the map's objectives to progress through the Castle. Once there, find the door in the corner and open it. Move along the castle wall until you reach the Cannon. Interact with the cannon's crank to rotate it a full 180 degrees until it stops. Then go to the back of the cannon and fire it. After the cannon is shot, it should break the doors and blast them open.

Next, head to the left-hand side under the stairs and find a door at the back. Open it to access another room with a door in the corner. Open this second door and head downstairs into the undercroft. Across the room, there's another door—open it to enter a room with a container in the center. This container has three locks on it. Shoot the locks to open it, which will release a monster.

The monster is fast but weak. Aim for its eyes, as that's its weak spot. Once defeated, it will drop a crystal. Pick up the crystal and interact with the red portal inside the container where the monster came from. This action unlocks Pack-a-Punch.

Survive until wave 10. During this wave, a zombie with a bucket on its head will spawn. This zombie is immune to headshot damage, so shoot it in the body to kill it. Afterward, it will drop an item called a stamp.

With the Stamp in hand, return to the main castle area. This time, go through the door on the right under the stairs. Follow the path into a room containing four statues. Interact with one of these statues to receive the basic sword.

After acquiring the sword, upgrade your sword into an elemental version; you can choose one of four elements: Fire, Light, Lightning, or Void. Each statue corresponds to a specific element:

• Fire Sword: Linked to the dragon statue, the first one on the right, as you enter the room.
• Light Sword: Tied to the lion statue, the second one on the right at the back.
• Lightning Sword: Associated with the stag statue, the closest one to you on the left as you enter.
• Void Sword: Connected to the raven statue, the one at the back on the left side.

Choose the statue of your preferred element, and your sword will be upgraded. That's how you obtain and enhance the sword in the Citadel map of Black Ops 6 Zombies.
