The Jetgun, or the Thrustodyne M3, has this cool ability to pull zombies in with its primary fire, and it can keep doing that forever, which makes it a really powerful Wonder Weapon. When you use it, zombies get shredded by the turbine inside the Jetgun, which deals a ton of damage even in the higher rounds.
Back in the day, if you used the Jetgun too much, it would blow up, and that was actually part of the Easter egg on Transit. But now it’s been remodeled and doesn’t blow up anymore.
Also, the Jetgun has this cool alt-fire mode now, which makes it even more awesome than it was before. When you use the alt-fire, it creates a big explosion that's great for clearing out waves and dealing with tough situations.
Just switch back to the primary fire when individual zombies come your way to take them out. All in all, it's a super strong weapon and totally worth picking up in your game. Here’s how you can craft it.
Find the Water Valve
To begin crafting the jetgun, make your way to the Flower Shop. Just outside, you’ll spot a green valve attached to a pipe—pick it up. You won't see it highlighted or anything, so it might be hard to spot.
Activate the Bowling Alley Pressure Gauge
With the water valve in hand, head over to the bowling alley. Once inside, locate the pressure gauge box on the wall and do a melee attack to break it open. Place the water valve onto the gauge, then hold down the interact button to turn it. For solo players, feel free to handle this step between rounds. After you’ve turned the valve completely, pick up the water pressure gauge. With this part of the process completed, you’re ready for the next stage.
Obtain the Toolshed Key from the Groundskeeper Zombie
Head over to the cemetery and take on zombies until a groundskeeper zombie appears. Kill him to obtain a toolshed key, which you’ll need to unlock the shed located just south of the graveyard.
Get the Handbrake from the Shed
With the toolshed key in hand, unlock the shed door. Inside, you’ll find the handbrake—another essential component for crafting the jetgun.
Open the Electronics Store Gate
Next, make your way to the electronics store. Here, you’ll need to use a Mangler cannon to blast open the gate. Once the gate is down, search through the trash on the ground by pressing the interact button until you find the electrical wires.
Craft the Jetgun in Room 202
Finally, head to room 202 on the Hotel’s second floor. Be careful, as zombies will burst out of the door when you approach for the first time. After taking them down, head inside and you’ll be able to craft the jetgun.
