Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Guide | How to Get the Light Sword

Here’s how you can obtain the Void Sword, also called the Lion Sword in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

In the Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map, you can unlock different Elemental Swords. This guide will show you how to get the Light Sword, also called the Lion Sword.

Step 1: Open the Castle Door

First, make your way to the Castle by following the objectives. When you’re on the castle walls, find the cannon and interact with the crank. Hold it down and rotate the cannon 180 degrees until it stops moving. Once it’s aligned, go to the back of the cannon and fire it. This will blast open the castle door.

Step 2: Reach the Undercroft

Upon entering the Castle, turn left under the stairs. There's a door there, and once opened, you proceed through some more of those doors until you reach the Undercroft. And when you've got enough points, there's another door to open in the undercroft.

Step 3: Fight the Monster

Inside the next room, you’ll see a Container with locks on it. Follow the objective and shoot the locks to release a monster. The monster moves quickly but is weak. Aim for its eyes to deal with critical damage and take it down efficiently.

After killing the monster, it will drop an Aetherium Crystal. Be cautious—parasites might spawn nearby. Pick up the crystal and place it into the container. This action will reveal Pack-a-Punch, which allows you to upgrade your weapons for better survival.

Step 4: Survive Until Wave 10

Continue fighting zombies until you reach wave 10. During this wave, a special zombie with a bucket on its head will appear. It is immune to headshots, so aim for its body to kill it. When you defeat it, it will drop an item called the stamp. Pick it up.

Step 5: Get the Basic Sword

With the Stamp in your possession, go back into the castle and this time head to the right-hand side under the stairs. Open the door leading to the entrance hall. Inside, you’ll see statues holding swords. Look for the statue with a Lion on its chest—it’s the second one on the right. Interact with this statue to obtain the basic sword.

Step 6: Stab Golden Parasites

After getting the sword, four golden parasites will spawn. Use the sword to stab one of them. This will cause the sword to glow. Once the first parasite is dealt with, head to the left exit of the castle and go into the courtyard area.

Step 7: Place Symbols on the Door

In the Courtyard, look for a door. Interact with it by stabbing it with the glowing sword. This will place a symbol on the door. Repeat this process by stabbing three more parasites and placing a total of four symbols on the door. If parasites don’t spawn properly, move to the next wave to spawn more.

Step 8: Complete the Timed Event

Once all four symbols are on the door, you’ll trigger a timed event. Interact with the door to teleport into a room. Inside, place the sword on a pedestal; symbols will appear, and you must find and shoot matching symbols on the walls.

For example, if the symbol is a circle, look around the room for a circle symbol on the walls and shoot it. The symbol will move to the center once you shoot the correct match. Repeat this process for the remaining symbols. Be aware that zombies will spawn during this event, so stay alert.

If you shoot the wrong symbol or run out of time, you’ll be kicked out of the room. You’ll need to survive until the next wave to retry the process.

Step 9: Fix Issues if Needed

If you encounter issues where the symbols don’t respond, save and quit the game, then rejoin. Once the next wave begins, the door will light up again, and you can interact with it to retry the event.

Step 10: Claim the Light Sword

When you successfully complete the symbol-matching event, you’ll be able to grab the sword from the pedestal. It will power up with the Light element, and you’ll leave the room holding the Lion Sword.

That’s how you unlock the Light Sword, or Lion Sword, in the Citadel Zombies map in Black Ops 6. Follow these steps carefully to get this powerful weapon and dominate the undead hordes.
