Causal Loop Guide | How to Solve Every Puzzle in Chapter 5

Chapter 5 begins with a short cutscene after you move forward. Once the scene ends, continue ahead and pick up the Green Cube. Place it into the Green Cube Slot. Next, take the Blue Cube and place it into the Blue Cube Slot.

When you approach the door, the Blue Cube will pop back out. Pick it up again, place it back into the slot, then continue forward. Turn left and cross the bridge.

Body Scan And Green Cube Charging Puzzle

After crossing the bridge, move forward and press the button. Go right when prompted, then scan the body. Once the scan is complete, press the button again to activate the teleporter.

Grab the Green Cube and throw it out before using the teleporter. Take the teleporter, pick up the Green Cube, and try to place it in the slot. The slot will move, which means you need to repeat the process with the Green Cube.

This time, use the charge ports. Pick up the Green Cube, place it in the first charge port, and wait until it charges. Take it out and place it into the next charge port. Once charged again, carry it across the bridge and insert it into the Green Cube Slot. Go back across the working bridge and enter the left opening.

First Branch Barrier Puzzle

Inside the next area, create a branch. The branch only needs to move far enough to pass the nearby barrier, because the barrier will break it. After the dialogue explains the barrier, move past it and press the newly appeared button. Continue forward.

Blue Block And Pink Teleporter Puzzle

Take the Blue Block and place it into the Blue Block Charger. Wait for it to charge, then drop down and place it into the Blue Block Slot. This activates the Pink Teleporter.

Create a branch and send it through the Pink Teleporter. Move upward and press the button. Then break the branch and move toward the inactive bridge. Wait there until the bridge activates, then cross it.

Final Barrier Switch Puzzle

After crossing the bridge, go through the door on the right. This final section has two barriers: one active and one inactive. The nearby button switches which barrier is active.

To solve it, create a branch that quickly presses the switch button. While the barriers change, run up the stairs and press the door button. Wait for the door to open, then go through it. Head upward, take the teleporter, and Chapter 5 will end.
