Finding the Right Place

First, open up your map. You need to check the planets to see which area is glitched right now. These spots change after a while, so look for the special icons on your screen. Once you find the exact zone where the public event is happening, fly right into that spot.

How to Get the Material

When you get there, look for enemies that look a bit weird or glitched out. Defeating these targets gives you a chance to pick up Strange Matter Crystals in Destiny 2: Monument of Triumph DLC.
