The Dragon Quest series has been a part of the JRPG pillar for a long time and has contributed greatly to how we perceive the Japanese role-playing game. This guide covers two standout items: the Meteorite Bracer, which significantly boosts agility, and the Golden Claw, a powerful weapon for martial artists that’s unmatched for a good portion of the game.

Finding the Meteorite Bracer

Head to Ebis, the desert kingdom south of the pyramid. Go to the castle grounds, move left, and take the stairs down. Follow the path, descend again, and continue straight between the torches to find a treasure chest containing the Meteorite Bracer. This accessory is invaluable early on, offering a huge agility boost. If you encounter the NPC nearby, answering "No" will let you avoid his fake curse.

Best suited for martial artists, the Golden Claw can be found in the pyramid’s basement. It’s easier after completing the pyramid, especially if you have a monster wrangler for healing since magic is disabled here. Without one, stock up on healing items before heading to the tomb. On the bottom floor, interact with a damaged statue in the top-left corner to reveal a deeper subfloor.

In this area, make your way to the Pharaoh’s sarcophagus to claim the Golden Claw. Be cautious—upon leaving, a curse triggers constant battles every few steps, preventing magic use or escape. Fight your way out, keeping your health in check. Once you’re outside, the weapon is no longer cursed and serves as an incredibly strong asset for your martial artist.

I hope this guide was helpful on your journey.
