Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Guide | How to Get Musubi

The best use for a limited resource

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess offers a blend of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving elements. Inspired by Japanese mythology, the gameplay is very balanced, providing a satisfying experience with optional challenges at every level. A core part of the game's mechanics involves using villagers in a system akin to tower defense games.

These villagers are assigned to different roles. These roles are almost like classes, each having specialties, abilities, and a purpose. To maximize them and have an easier time through the game, you'd need to get an important resource called Musubi. Given how difficult it is to obtain, Musubi is almost priceless. It not only upgrades the villagers but also Soh.

The main way of earning Musubi in the game is by completing a stage. Each stage is different, split across two levels, one involving Torii Gates, the other a boss fight. Each stage requires a different strategy, but once you complete them, you earn Musubi.

Each stage also has a couple of challenges, three to be exact. Completing them will also give you 5 to 10 Musubi. Once you complete the game the first time around, you'll gain two more challenges that will give you the ability to get even more Musubi.

Another relatively easy way of earning Musubi is by completing repairs. Every time you purge a defilement, you essentially have more bases. But these bases are damaged and in a state of disrepair. The repairs are split into stages, which require villagers to perform. Once fully repaired, one of the rewards is Musubi.

Among other methods, you may very rarely find Musubi from the buried boxes that you can find using thieves. This, however, is a very unreliable method as the buried boxes have random items inside them.

Remember that Musubi is a very valuable and incredibly limited resource. You should mostly focus on Soh with them, but it's also worth it to get some villager upgrades. You should also understand that you'll not be able to get every upgrade in the game, so a lot of it is about specialization.
