Initial Preparations

How well you do against the Two-Faced Overseer depends on three essential pieces of gear and how well you improve them. With the Puppet String ability fully improved, the Legion Arm is the best weapon for both stopping pressure and keeping it up.

The Acidic Spear offers reliable ranged damage to chip away at health from a safe distance. At the start of the fight, the Daylight Wreathed Horn calls for necessary help.

Before starting the battle, make sure that the Legion Arm's Puppet String is at its highest level. This will ensure that it can continue to attack.

Obtaining the Daylight Wreathed Horn

The Daylight Wreathed Horn is obtained from the Fluffy-Faced Gentleman, an NPC found immediately after defeating the Veronique boss.

If this item is inadvertently missed, return to the area just beyond the Veronique arena to locate the Fluffy-Faced Gentleman and receive the horn upon interacting with him.

Support Summon

Blow the Daylight Wreathed Horn at the start of the fight to bring the Fluffy-Faced Gentleman forward. The Two-Faced Overseer will be distracted by his heavy, wide-ranging attacks.

The boss won't be able to attack both the player and the friend at the same time because of this. This distraction makes it possible for attacking moves that can't be stopped to happen at critical times.

Battle Strategy

When entering the arena and using the support ally, positioning is critical: keep the player character and the summoned NPC on different sides of the boss to lower the risk of attacks that hit the whole area.

Because the Legion Arm's reach is so long, it can spam its main attack over and over, refilling as needed to keep up the pressure.

The Two-Faced Overseer will sometimes reach a high state marked by a red glow. This is when they will start to use more damaging and aggressive moves.

In these stages, you should focus on quick Legion Arm hits to stop the boss's panic and put it back in a position where it can be hurt.

Once the red aura dissipates, transition to charged heavy attacks for maximum damage output before resuming the rapid Legion Arm volleys.

By repeating this cycle—interrupting the red-aura frenzy with Puppet String strikes, following up with charged heavy blows, and maintaining constant pressure through primary strikes—the Two-Faced Overseer will succumb without reliance on additional consumables or complex mechanics.
