Lies of P: Overture has introduced its eagerly anticipated DLC, Overture, featuring eight exceptional boss encounters. Each boss impresses not only with its difficulty but also with its rich lore, striking design, and immersive voice acting. This guide lists every boss fight from easiest to hardest and shows you how to best deal with their attacks, phases, and patterns.

#8 Tyrannical Predator

The Tyrannical Predator embodies the Alchemist's grand experimentation, presenting a massive foe whose slow, predictable strikes make it an ideal reintroduction to Lies of P combat mechanics.

Its slow, sluggish moves are easy to predict, which makes dodging very simple. Even though this boss looks scary, its simple attack patterns and wide-open spaces for counterattacks give new players confidence before they face more difficult opponents.

#7 Two-Faced Overseer

The Two-Faced Overseer is like the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde trope in that it is a tall, humanoid robot that is locked inside a liquid-filled vessel. The fight starts with a reasonable green phase and then moves on to a crazy red phase.

However, the game provides a resource-free summon known as Tracker, which can tank the Overseer's onslaught, enabling players to maintain pressure safely. When Tracker is used to help, this fight is still doable. Trying to do it alone makes it more complicated, but it fits in perfectly with the story of the DLC.

#6 Anguished Guardian of the Ruins

The Anguished Guardian of the Ruins is pleasantly forgiving, even though it is enormous. Its big frame makes every move obvious, making it easy to avoid and giving you chances to attack from behind.

In the second phase, the guardian fires laser beams that look a lot like The Pursuer from Dark Souls II. However, these beams move in predictable ways and have apparent gaps to avoid them. Calling in an ally makes this fight even less challenging, turning it into a showpiece for the DLC's creepy atmosphere instead of a real task.

#5 Premetamorphic Green Hunter

The Premetamorphic Green Hunter returns from the main game as the sole optional DLC boss, retaining its original moveset without mutating into a more powerful form. Facing it alone increases the stakes, as there is no distraction for its life-draining grab attacks. A missed dodge can replenish the hunter's health, prolonging the fight.

But methods from the base game still work, and when the hunter's health drops, it runs away, which shows that the timeline stays the same and gives you a short break before the final battle.

#4 Markiona, Puppeteer of Death

This tag-team battle pits Markiona, Puppeteer of Death, against both her and her eponymous puppet. At first, the puppet's noises can be too much to handle, but once players realize it's just a distraction, they can focus on Markiona, whose speed and long-range attacks are the real threat.

The fight ends quickly because the puppet is ignored, and constant pressure is kept on Markiona. There is a lot of time to recover between her attacks, so you should be patient and keep your attention on the primary target.

#3 Veronique, Leader of the Sweepers

Driven to madness by unorthodox experiments, Veronique wields a colossal hammer at breakneck speed. Her flurry of rapid, consecutive strikes challenges even experienced players, and entering the second stage infuses her weapon with flame, inflicting burn buildup.

Periodic flame-fan attacks provide rare healing windows or visceral opportunities, but misjudging her aggressive combos often results in swift defeat. Mastery of her tempo and timing is essential to survive this punishing duel.

#2 Lumacchio, Leader of the Bastards

At first glance, Lumacchio, Leader of the Bastards, appears to be a standard NPC skirmish, but his speed and agility soon become apparent. In Stage One, forced heals interrupt progress and compel players to repeat significant portions of the fight.

Upon mutation into a decaying beast in Stage Two, Lumacchio introduces decay buildup and weapon degradation alongside powerful strikes. The cramped arena leaves little room to recover, demanding near-flawless execution to manage multiple status effects and relentless offense.

#1 Arlecchino, the Blood Artist

The culmination of Lies of P's lore and mechanics, Arlecchino, the Blood Artist, stands as the ultimate test. In Stage One, this macabre puppet master battles alongside the summon Leah, whose support helps maintain pressure.

Stage Two transforms Arlecchino into a formidable war machine, combining blinding speed with devastating attacks reminiscent of late-game bosses from prior Souls‑likes.

To survive this fight, you need to be smart about what gear you use, how you use your move sets, and how you use your healing slots. Because it has both story and gameplay complexity, Arlecchino is the most memorable and brutal fight in the whole game.
