Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Guide | Farm Tech Parts Quickly
A guide to show how to farm Tech Parts efficiently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Tech Parts, trust me, you’ll need a lot of these, especially toward the end of the game. Tech Parts are crucial for unlocking suits, upgrading suit techs, and enhancing gadgets. These upgrades get pretty expensive.
For example, when looking at suit tech upgrades, you’ll notice they require a hefty amount of Tech Parts—around 230 or 240 each. At one point, I only had 94, despite having completed nearly everything in the game. With my progress at 99%, I still needed to grind for Tech Parts to unlock the remaining suits, gadgets, and tech upgrades.
Danger Symbols
One of the main ways to earn Tech Parts is by completing activities marked with red danger symbols on your map. These missions reward Tech Parts upon completion.
For instance, during one of these missions, I had to deliver someone to an ambulance. (Not sure why I couldn’t just take them directly to the hospital, but let’s go with it!) Once I completed the task and dropped them off, I earned 80 Tech Parts.
Keep in mind that single upgrades often require upwards of 230–240 Tech Parts, so completing these dangerous missions is a reliable method for farming.
Tech Tree and Traversal Upgrades
The second way to get Tech Parts is by looting blue chests, which are usually located on Rooftops. To make finding these chests easier, use the "All-Seeing" upgrade in your suit’s traversal tech tree.
This upgrade reveals tech crates on your mini-map, making it much simpler to locate them. I recommend unlocking this upgrade once you’re near the end game, as it’s incredibly useful for farming Tech Parts.
Chest Locations
With the "All-Seeing" upgrade, you’ll see chest icons on your mini-map. Head to these locations, and you’ll usually find blue chests on rooftops. Each chest typically gives around 20 Tech Parts.
For example, I climbed onto a rooftop to open a chest and received 19 Tech Parts—most of them hover around this amount. Occasionally, you’ll also find yellow chests containing rare Tech Parts. I didn’t even know these existed until I unlocked the suit tech upgrade. While I didn’t need rare Tech Parts at that point, they’re a good option if you do.
Respawning Danger Missions
If you want red danger missions to reappear, spend some time swinging around the city. These missions will pop up randomly between your regular objectives, missions, or collectibles. You’ll always have opportunities to earn more Tech Parts this way.
I hope this guide helps you gather Tech Parts quickly and easily. Good luck!
