Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Guide | How to Complete Hidden Treasure In The Gallery Quest

In Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, as you move through new areas, you can do side tasks for essential characters. 

A Hidden Treasure In The Gallery is one of these quests. You can get it from Eris after reaching the first milestone for total money earned and getting entry to The Gallery. Like her earlier quest in Kalina, this task requires you to interpret a riddle to obtain a weapon recipe.

Reaching The Secret Area

A Hidden Treasure In The Gallery can only be finished in The Gallery zone, so you need to go into that area first. You need to reach the mini-boss room while exploring. A crossed-swords icon on the map indicates its location. This room is about halfway through the cave.

After defeating all enemies in the mini-boss room, approach the treasure chests at the end and collect the loot in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault.

Do not move deeper into the dungeon. Instead, turn left and follow the wall until you find a concealed staircase that leads downward to the lower walkways. Continue along this path until you reach a portal, which takes you to a secret chamber filled with traps.

Navigating The Laser Trap Room

There are a lot of laser traps that you have to get past in the secret room. Each time, these lasers follow the same routes, and the only way to get past them is to move out of the way. As you move forward, more lights appear and begin moving in similar ways.

At one point, you will face lasers moving directly toward you, while another set sweeps from left to right. Wait until the sweeping beam reaches the left side, then move up along the right in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault.

After crossing the sweeping laser's boundary, perform a dodge roll to the left to pass over the horizontal beam. From there, continue upward along the left side, rolling through any oncoming lasers before it hits you.

In the last part, wait until both moving lights are aligned on one side of the room, either left or right. When they do, run to the other side and dodge-roll through the beams that move up and down. This reduces the number of lasers you must cross to reach the end.

Heartbeat Hunter Recipe And Crafting

At the end of the room, collect the scroll to unlock the recipe for the Heartbeat Hunter gauntlet weapon. After obtaining it, you can either continue through the Gallery dungeon or teleport back to town.

To craft the Heartbeat Hunter, speak with the Blacksmith. The weapon costs 2,000 Gold and 4 Echo Links to create in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault.

Heartbeat Hunter Effect

The Heartbeat Hunter grants a bonus that increases your damage by 40 percent while you are in the Berserk state, but you also take 40 percent more damage during that time. 

This effect rewards careful movement and consistent dodge timing, as taking hits while Berserk can quickly end a run.
