Social Link plays a very important part in Persona 3 Reload as Maxing your social links gets you stronger Personas, more combat power, more in-depth knowledge of a character's story, and more fusion options.

Conditions For Social Link

One distinctive feature of Persona 3 Reload is that not all social links will be open to you directly; in fact, some are either locked behind other social links or require a specific rank or social stat in order to be able to communicate with them. You will benefit later if you prioritize social indicators in the early game. Make sure to emphasize bravery and charm. In reality, academics are only utilized for a few social links later in the mid-game.

Don't forget to bring a Persona of the Lovers Arcana if you're spending time with Yukari, who is of the Lovers Arcana. In this game, social links are ranked using an internal point system. To meet the requirements for each rank and move up, you must earn a specific number of affinity points.

You will always receive extra points for each of the best answers in the dialogue choices if you bring a matching Persona. Therefore, if you're unsure, just bring the same persona. The prompt "I have X Persona" will appear before you hang out with someone, indicating that you have a matching Persona to utilize.

The social links that are locked behind other social links should be given priority. Here are the requirements for some of these Social Links in order to play the early game:

Spending time with Kazushi, the Chariot Arcana, unlocks Yuko of the Strength Arcana.
Hanging out with Yuko unlocks the Tower Arcana, Mutatsu.
Spending time with Kenji, the Magician Arcana, unlocks Susu, the Gout King of the Moon Arcana.
Spending time with the Hangman Arcana unlocks the Sun Arcana's Aari.

Rank Up Priorities

I advise concentrating on and prioritizing every student in the school. Prioritize the students who are absent most of the time, such as Chihiro, and then work with the remaining students who are available most of the time to accommodate their absences. It takes very little if any, extra work to rank these Social Links up because they are quite simple.
