Here's a guide on how to compte contracts in SAND: Raiders of Sophie.

In SAND: Raiders of Sophie, if you've collected more loot than you need, Contracts are one of the quickest ways to convert it to Crowns. The problem is, they must be done during an actual expedition, so it's a risky proposition. If you prefer to take it easy, then run them in Voyage mode, as there is no time limit there.

Getting Into a Fort

Contracts start at any fort on the map. Drive up to one in your Trampler and find the entrance. The main gate will be locked, so man one of your Trampler's cannons and blast it open to get inside.

Clearing the Fort

After passing through the gate, take care of any enemies guarding the area before heading towards the objective. Watch the left side of your screen, as a contract indicator will show you how far you are from the contract platform. As you travel through the fort, loot all the items you find. Forts are known for their high quality loot, and you will need that loot to complete the Contract.

Turning In the Crate

The contract platform is typically located near the top of the fort, adjacent to a Smoke Grenade. It can be used to put a crate on it, but if you put an empty crate on it, it will do nothing. Place loot in a crate first, then place the loaded crate on the platform. The value of all the items inside is immediately displayed on the left side of your screen. A balloon lifts the crate shortly after and carries it off, and about a minute later, the platform comes back down with your Crown payment.

Why It's Worth Doing

The contracts typically yield more Crowns than simply selling the same loot back at the shop, which means that the additional risk is worth it. Once the platform cools down, you can keep looting the fort or come back later for another run.

Staying Careful

Forts are very popular because everyone is aware of what they provide. Be careful when working through a Contract, as other players may appear to try to take your loot or the reward.
