This guide covers the steps to finish the Invasive Species Side Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. You will help the people of Kuwaq Yaku deal with a group of thieves taking over their home.

Starting the Mission

Once you reach Kuwaq Yaku, head to the western side of the village. You will see a man named Omar being mean to another person in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

After the scene ends, talk to Victor. He tells you about a group of pillagers who are hurting the local citizens. Walk up the stairs nearby and speak with Omar, the man who pushed Victor, to trigger another conversation.

Finding the Pillagers

Go to the cafe by the bar. That's where you last saw Jonah and Abby. Talk to Marco to get more information about where the thieves are hiding. Follow the mission sign to get to the northwest edge of town.

Crawl under some tree roots and keep walking until you find the Mural - Suppay. Go through the tunnel, where you will see a young boy named Pablo. Talk to him to learn more about the men you are looking for in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Clearing the Ruins

Walk through the mud and squeeze through a small opening. You will see the pillagers shooting at a villager. Use the bushes and the vines on the walls to hide.

There are four men in the lower section. You can take them out quietly one by one or use your bow for headshots. Try not to make loud noises so the larger group nearby doesn't hear you in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

After the lower area is empty, go up the stairs into the ruins. You will find five more pillagers here. Three of them are standing close together and bothering the villagers. It is best to kill the two closest men silently first. Then you can kill the rest of the group with your bow.

Collecting Items and Returning

Before you leave, go to the gate behind the villagers and pry it open. This leads to a dig site where you can pick up the Relic - Tumi Knife. Climb onto the building and use the wall to reach the ledges above. You will find a Resource Container in this high area.

To get back down quickly, use a Rope Arrow to make a zipline. Travel back to the village and speak with Marco to finish the mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
