Finding the Flood Basin

Start at the lake southeast of San Juan. Walk through the water to reach dry land and look for the Document - Last Words. Follow the path until you hit more water.

Dive down and find a tunnel. Swim through it and stay away from the Moray Eel. Get out of the water on the other side and climb the wall to keep going in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Lowering the Water

Swim around the corner to find the Mural - God of Cocoa. Stand with your back to the mural and look up at the far wall to see wood wrapped in rope.

Use a Rope Arrow on it to lift the gate. This makes the water level go down. Walk through the giant mouth and slide down the path. Make sure you jump at the very end of the slide.

Reaching the Base Camp

Dive into the water and swim forward. The Piranhas here will not hurt you yet. Squeeze through the wall and cut the rope under the water to let a raft float up in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Use this raft to climb the wall nearby. This leads to the Flood Basin Base Camp. Pick up some Salvage and climb the ledges to enter a large pool area.

Searching the Piranha Pool

This pool is full of Piranhas. Stay low in the grass underwater or use rafts so they do not eat you. From where you start, dive down and swim to the back right corner.

You will find a Supply Cache between two piles of Salvage. Swim to the opposite corner from where you first entered the room. Here, you can find another Supply Cache and the Relic - Primitive Doll.

Opening the Temple Gate

Go to the back left corner near the gate. Look underwater for a hole in the wall. Go inside and cut the rope. Surface and hop on the raft to reach the floor in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Follow the path to a lever. You will find the Document - Testament of T. Serrano and the Mural - Thirsty Gods here. Turn the lever until the water hits the bucket that moves the gate parts.

Jump to the wood platform by the waterwheel. Tie the wheel to the gate weight using a Rope Arrow. Go back to the lever. Use the water to spin the wheel. This will lift the gate. Stop turning the wheel before the rope snaps so you can go inside.

Getting the Reward

Walk into the temple and pick up the Document - Alux. Climb up to the top to find the stone. Interact with it to get the reward: Skill: Sip's Spike in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
