Finding the Mountain Catacombs

Start by going to the woods south of San Juan. Push through a gate to reach the Deserted Cloister Base Camp. Grab the Relic - Mission San Juan and the Archivist Map nearby. Walk up the building stairs and look on the right desk for the Document - The Hills are Alive.

Go deeper inside to get the Explorer Backpack and a Resource Container. Use a rope arrow on the wood that is in the way in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Jump to the wall and then use a rope to get to the ground. Near the Mountain Catacombs Base Camp, you can find the Document - Chechen and Chaca Trees and a Resource Container.

Dealing with the Gas

Drop down from the camp into a tunnel. Follow it to a wall and move right, then rappel to a new path. Green gas blocks your way. Make a Fire Arrow and shoot the gas to blow it up. Climb up and take the Resource Container.

Walk across the hole and pull the lever on the wall. More gas will come out. Use another Fire Arrow to clear the air. Set up a zipline with a Rope Arrow and slide down. Look to your right for a Supply Cache. Keep going and use your grapple to get over the pit and find a Resource Container.

Moving the First Platforms

Go down one more level and enter the tunnel. Aim a Fire Arrow at the gas to shove the platform toward your side. Get on it and ride it across in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Follow the trail and jump over the gap. Leap toward the stone wall to get the Document - World Tree. Find the statue and pull the lever to let gas out.

Turn around fast because Yaaxil will attack. Once they are dead, go back up the trail to the left side. Shoot the gas with a Fire Arrow to lift the platform. Jump on it to get across. Keep walking and jump to a flat ledge. Scramble up the wall to see the Mural - Tree of Life.

The Second Gas Puzzle

Head to the end of the path to find the Relic - Primitive Doll. Cut the rope that holds the platform. Cross over the two platforms and climb the wall.

Turn the handle on the statue to release gas. Fire a Fire Arrow at the gas. This starts another fight with Yaaxil. Go back to where you started on the first platform.

Hit the gas with a Fire Arrow again. This time, the platform stays up so you can reach the wood ledge. Two Yaaxil will be waiting there for a fight in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Getting the Reward

Follow the path down to grab a Resource Container. Go back and blow up the gas with a Fire Arrow to open the path. Climb the wall and cut the rope on the platform. Pick up the Relic - Primitive Doll. Walk forward and pull the lever on the statue.

Jump down and grapple over to the first platform. Shoot the gas one more time. The platform will drop. Fight off the Yaaxil in the area. Climb back up the wall near the Resource Container. Follow the high path and walk over the bridge. Interact with the stone to get Skill: Kinich Ahau's Boon.

Leaving the Area

Move to the ledge behind the reward. Use a Rope Arrow to make a line and rappel down. Make one more rope line to reach the next spot in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Walk along the path on the right and climb the wall for a Resource Container. Go up the ladder and slide down the zipline. Use the ledges and walls to climb out. Follow the path until you are back outside.
