In Windrose, an Egg is an easy method of replenishing your food stocks. Many of them are to be found, provided you know where to seek and when to go out in search of them. This object can be obtained at the beginning of the game and gathered in substantial quantities at a slight difficulty.

Hunting the First Biome and Hidden Camps

You need to remain in the first biome to farm a great deal of these items. They are extremely plentiful here, and you may see a good many of them on the second island. To obtain an Egg, one method to do so is to seek small camps as you pass by. These camps are not marked on your map, but are those where creatures lay their eggs. You will have to battle some foes which guard these places, before you can claim the contents of them.

Hunting the Smaller Chicken Dodo

This can be acquired by hunting the smaller Chicken Dodo as well. These birds do not roam in a particular location, but in the whole island. It is preferable to attack the common ones since the blue Chicken Dodo does not appear to lay eggs. You are to have your hunting in the morning, too. These animals, neither seem to hatch at night, nor to spawn, so you will fare better venture out during the day.
