The mission Revenge Is Best Served Cold in Windrose is one of the biggest missions that make you be prepared to have a long fight. You cannot simply run to the end, you must dismember the work of a man named Thomas Richards in three different spheres. It takes you 4 Black Marks of his crew to be able to square up to the boss himself. You cannot complete the mission missing one of the enemies or without hitting a chest.

The discovery of the First Three Black Marks

The Black Marks are located within a Richard's Crew Chest, however the boxes can only be opened by killing all the enemies in the area. Defeating Thomas Richards

Thomas Richards is equipped with a huge weapon and tosses grenades which are capable of draining your health in a short period of time. His blows are powerful, and are slow enough that one can dodge them by a well-timed evasion. To win, it is best to play defensively and wait till he has completed a combo.

After he swings he becomes tired and you get an opportunity of hitting him back. In case he charges towards you, just find an escape and re-establish yourself. In case you pass away in this battle, Fast Travel will help you to reappear in the camp without returning to the marks.

Finishing the Mission and getting Loot

After defeating the boss, go back to your base and speak to Doctor Galen in order to complete the quest. Your rewards will include Experience Points, a Seafood Platter and a copy of the Thomas Richards' Journal. During the mission, you might also discover such items as Plant Fiber, Gunpowder and Copper Bullets in the pirates that you kill. There may even be rare equipment on some of the chests such as the Flibustier's Boots. You must also seek a Richard's Crew Key and other Insignias that are dropped by the enemies that will assist you in other bits of your adventure.
