Location and Difficulty

You can find Lu Bingzhang at Worship's Rise in the Shu Sanctum. To get to him, head to the top floor of the Shu Sanctum, right above the shrine area.

This encounter has a difficulty level of 3 out of 10, especially if you use the Bone Whistle to call an AI companion in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Preparation and Equipment

Use a combination of magic-based attacks and a one-handed sword for the best result.

Before facing Lu Bingzhang, invest in the second skill of the one-handed weapon skill tree. This upgrade lets your magic regenerate automatically every few seconds.

The Bone Whistle Strategy

Your key to success is getting the Bone Whistle from Nian Suichang, also known as Master Nian.

You can find this NPC along the path connecting Lightzen Temple to Shu Sanctum in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

If you talk to Master Nian during your journey, he will give you an essential item that changes the boss fight. When you enter the boss's room, use the Bone Whistle right away to summon Master Nian as your ally.

This timing is crucial. It allows your ally to grab Lu Bingzhang's attention right from the start of the fight.

As Master Nian distracts the boss, you can stay at a safe distance and keep casting magic spells with your one-handed sword.

Combat Execution

With Master Nian drawing Lu Bingzhang's focus, you can maintain a steady offensive pattern with magic attacks in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Although magic deals relatively low damage to this boss, it offers a reliable and predictable approach that reduces risk.

Your automatic magic regeneration skill lets you keep casting spells.

If Master Nian falls during the fight, switch to a defensive strategy quickly.

Focus entirely on dodging while your magic recharges. Once your magical energy is back, resume casting spells while staying safely away from Lu Bingzhang's attacks.
