Boss Location and Prerequisites

Navigate to Worship's Rise in Ruins within Annalum and advance until you encounter an enemy wielding explosive projectiles.

Once you've eliminated this threat, proceed up the staircase directly in front of you.

The Nightmare Demon occupies the identical arena where the Gluttonous Monstrosity – Lu Hongliu previously challenged you in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Recommended Equipment and Level

Arm yourself with an Axe as your primary weapon for this encounter. You should reach at least level 75 before attempting this fight to ensure adequate survivability.

The battle becomes significantly more manageable when you combine your Axe with the Life Leech Needle enhancement, allowing you to execute continuous quick attack sequences.

Start the fight with a charged heavy attack to build momentum. Then, quickly switch to fast light attack combos to maintain constant pressure on your opponent in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

The last hit in your combo refills your stamina meter, so you can keep attacking as long as you stay in contact with the target.

When your stamina is completely drained, let it regenerate naturally before resuming your light attack chains. Keep your weapon's Life Leech Needle enhancement active throughout the battle.

This modification allows you to absorb health with each successful hit. This lets you take damage while continuing your attack without having to retreat for healing.
