Zenless Zone Zero Guide | How To Farm Polychrome
Polychrome Farming requires consistency and patience. However, if you follow the guide, you should not have to invest a significant amount of time.

If you just need a boost to keep up with the competition or if you're keen on getting the most recent limited banner character, this guide will be of use to you. I'll walk you through the most effective Polychrome farming methods, including both beginning and endgame techniques.
Master Endgame Strategies
I consider the endgame content to be the height of polychrome agriculture. Two game modes in Scott's Outpost—Shiyu Defense and Hollow Zero—are both well—suited for gathering Polychrome.
Though with intense fighting, you'll find that Shiyu Defense resembles a tower defense mode. Under a given time restriction, you have to beat waves of opponents. Polychrome will be more plentiful the faster you pass these phases, so you have to push yourself here.
With the best efficiency, you can get up to three hundred Polychrome every run. This option is worth your time, even if the outcomes are not ideal, as you are guaranteed a share of the reward.
Next up is Hollow Zero, my personal favorite. Think of it as a mix of strategy and exploration, just like the Simulated Universe of Honkai: Star Rail. You can farm Polychrome literally at any time due to many phases and events. Don't forget to check the License Level menu, which is full of Polychrome and other goodies. Head back to the outpost to spend your bonuses and commissions earned from your progress.
Spend Time Using the 24-hour Store
You might have been familiar with Residual Signals. As you call W-Engines and characters, these useful items will start collecting. If you have enough residual signals building up, then you can trade them for additional pulls at the 24- 24-hour store.
Apart from residual signals, look for fading signals as well. These let you purchase monthly Master Tapes for extra gacha money and are simpler to collect. The secret here is patience; avoid rushing things; the advantages will mount up over time.
Investigate the Primary Narrative and Commissions
Although it would seem cut and dry, completing experimental commissions and finishing the main story are some of the surefire ways to collect Polychrome. Every chapter completed rewards you handsomely. Activate Hard Mode for additional Polychrome in more challenging phases.
Another great source is the Errands page, which lists your daily missions. Simple tasks can add up fast, so check this section regularly.
Don't Discount the Premier Tab
Always check the Premier tab. Here's an advice I learned the hard way. It's full of tasks that involve paying Polychrome and other currencies as rewards. Early on, completing these goals might either strengthen or destroy your ability to root for that ideal character.
Level of Account and Grinding Side Quests
I know how tiresomely demanding side missions can get. Even so, I can tell the advantages are worth it. Not only does cleaning Blue missions and other side material tidy your map, but Polychrome is a bonus, too.
Similarly, focus on raising your interknot level, which is your account level. Every level raises a few extra draws in addition to the polychrome availability. Though the investment is long-term, the rewards are really significant.
Remain Current with Events
Polychrome finds a gold mine in special events. These events—a fresh patch release or a limited-time celebration—often provide players with money, pulls, and other goodies. Watch official announcements and try to become involved before the activities stop.
Daily Logins and Discounts
Never underestimate the power of logging in. Special events and regular login rewards tend to include Polychrome. Speak with Howe, too, for a chance to win Polychrome with his daily scratch tickets. Just don't wake him up too late in the evening; doing so will increase your chances of receiving trash rewards.
Explore the Map with an Open Mind
Although Zenless Zone Zero is not an open-world game, its free-roaming areas are full of chests and cargo crates; these usually contain Polychrome, so don't be afraid to go off the beaten path and interact with your environment. You may also want to complete chores assigned by Officer Mewmew, who sends you emails thanking you for helping the New Eridu inhabitants.
Complete Achievements and Play The Arcade
Stop by the Sixth Street arcade and take a break from your work. Certain games, such as Snake and Soul Hounds, have achievement systems through which players are rewarded Polychrome. Once you've completed those, you'll have to wait for updates; still, it's a fast and simple way to acquire more cash.
Also, check the Achievements tab. Specifically, early on, the polychrome rewards add up fast. While it does slow down as time goes on, it's still well worth checking every now and then. Building Character Trust will open unique home screen interactions and Polychrome rewards. Select a character, focus on their Trust meter, and see the benefits mount up.
VR Device and Shadow Handbook
Another excellent source is the VR device. Completing character tests here gives you Polychrome and helps you to build team cohesion. Moreover, though it's laborious, the Proxy Handbook gives you meager levels of Polychrome for every new finding you document. However, it's slow; every bit counts.
Improve Bangboo's characters
Level up your agents to unlock Polychrome and gacha pulls at set benchmarks; though rare in early games, beware of over-spending your XP resources. Consider upgrading your Bangboo, too. This produces free Bons and some extra cash over time.
Check Your Email to Redeem Codes
Remember to check your emails after every maintenance break or upgrade. Usually, developers send Polychrome as a gift to thank you for your patience. Use Zenless Zone Zero's social media channels to get promotional coupons for free exchange.
Invest in Battle Pass
The Battle Pass is an amazing deal if you are willing to drop a tiny amount of cash. While the membership tier includes additional perks, even the free tier gives Polychrome rewards. While it is not mandatory, if you are serious about the game, it will provide a good boost.
