CD Projekt RED Issues Apologize For Cyberpunk 2077's Problematic Release
CD Projekt RED speaks about Cyberpunk 2077's problematic release
News by Grayshadow on Dec 14, 2020
Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most anticipated games of this generation and sold very well, with 8 million in sales within days of its release. The issue is that the game was littered with bugs and issues, the biggest being the PS4 and Xbox One base model versions.
Many have found the base model versions of Cyberpunk 2077 to be near unplayable. With massive issues, frame rate problems, and textures loading in late. CD Projekt RED just released a new hotfix to try and resolve the issues but more are due. With the developer apologizing to fans for the problems.

In a lengthy notice, the developer promised they would be focusing on resolving the many issues. With more updates on the way and the next one coming in 7 days. After the holidays Patch 1 will be released and Patch 2 in February.
This may mean that CD Projekt RED developers will have to crutch hard on the game. With Cyberpunk 2077's development already notorious for heavy crutch.
