Today at CES 2014 Sony announced an upcoming service called PlayStation Now (PS Now). PS Now will allow users to stream popular and classic games from the PS3 library to other devices.
PlayStation Now will grant users access to full games on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The service will eventually expand to other internet connected devices as well, starting with 2014 BRAVIA TV models. Instantly playing games will be just as easy as streaming movies and music, with the most updated version of a game available in the cloud. Simply sign in with your Sony Entertainment Network account and continue a saved game over multiple devices.
Furthermore, with PS Now users will have the option to rent games and a subscription service will allow for thorough exploration of a variety of titles.
The end of January brings the beginning of the PS Now Beta program in the US with the program releasing this summer.
