Assassin's Creed: Unity Announced

Another year, another trip into the Animus, Ubisoft has revealed Assassin’s Creed: Unity with a brief glimpse at the game’s early alpha state. This new installment in the popular franchise will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One and PC this holiday season but no symbol for the Wii U was shown.

This will mark the first Assassin’s Creed game to be developed for next-generation consoles, excluding the PS3 and Xbox 360. The trailer shows that this Assassin’s Creed will be taking place in Paris during the French Revolution. It’s unclear whether the game will include the Napoleonic Wars but it’s clear that The Reign of Terror will be present.
