Hideo Kojima Offically Terminated from Konami
Kojima terminated from Konami, starts new project for PS4

With all the rumors surrounding Hideo Kojima and Konami’s relationship the creator of Metal Gear finally went on record to resolve everyones concerns.
In a recent Tweet the acclaim video game developer stated that his position from Konami officially ended yesterday:
“My employment contract with Konami has been terminated as of Dec 15th, so today marks a new start for me. I’m committed to be involved in creative activities for as long as I love. Look forward to what’s coming”
Sony recently released a video highlighting that Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima’s new studio, will be working on a new title for the PS4 exclusively.
Kojima’s relationship with Jonami began to show strain in March when the publisher announced cooperate restructuring and removed Kojima Productions’ from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The following month the reboot of Silent Hills called Silent Hills, which Kojima was working alongside with Guillermo del Toro, was cancelled. Later in July Kojima Productions was reported to be disbanded.
In a recent note Konami barred Kojima from the VGA’s, preventing the notorious developer from accepting an award.
Kojima’s final project for Konami, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, released on September 1, 2015 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC with massive acclaim from critics and gamers. Check out our review and whether MGS V should win GOTY.
