Xbox Live "Clubs" Offers Digital Spaces to Hang Out

The next update for Xbox One will provide clubs as spaces where gamers can socalize outside of playing games.

The update will give players options to create new groups where you can fully control how the group works. You can choose how persistent chat is allowed.

“Clubs is sort of our version of guilds and clans in MMOs,” director of program management Mike Ybarra explained. It sounds like party chat from the Xbox 360 days.
