The Last Guardian Receives Price Drop Across Retailers and Digital Store

The Last Guardian suffered a 10-year development cycle and when it finally released it received mixed reviews regarding the gameplay. 

2 months into its release and it seems that the game has become discounted to $40 across retailers and the digital store. This price drop could be to encourage sales after the game's poor reception. The Last Guardian debut with number 7 in the UK game sales chart and sold roughly 108,000 copies in Japan. According to PlayStation Blog, The Last Guardian didn't make the top 10 digitally sales list for December 2016, the month it was released.
