Shadow of the Colossus Developer Hiring for New Game

Fumito Ueda's studio, genDESIGN, is best known for Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian. Recently, the studio added several new job listings to their site for a new project.

The studio also posted tweets regarding the positions asking for "applicants to work on their next project. They're looking forward to working with all you game developers out there!".

As you might expect details on this project are secret and considering that The Last Guardian was in development for 2 years before being revealed we won't see anything anytime soon. In addition, The Last Guardian was originally going to launch for the PS3 before being delayed multiple times and released last year to a lackluster reception. While it maintained positive review scores overall it failed to meet the top 3 games sold when it released in the UK and Japan.

Currently, a remake of Shadow of the Colossus is in development for the PS4 but is being developed by Bluepoint Games and JAPAN Studio. It'll be a graphical update to the PS2 game which rereleased on the as The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection.

The Last Guardian is now available for PS4.
