We Happy Few Delayed, Playable Female Character Revealed (Updated)
We Happy Few is content complete, but its release has moved to Summer 2018 due to changes to the Arthur storyline.

Initially set to release on April 13th, We Happy Few has been delayed to Summer 2018. While the game is content complete, Compulsion Games have looked at the first hours of Arthur's storyline and decided to change some things around. "... the game didn’t start as well as it should. So we went back to the drawing board and made a couple of big decisions: we brought forward a number of story moments, to get into the action faster, and also rebuilt the whole first island for Arthur."
Arthur is just one of the three playable characters in We Happy Few and, as part of the same update video announcing the delay, a glimpse at a second playable character, Sally, was given. The current scope of We Happy few includes a full-length story campaign, three playable characters and more than 250 unique encounters. We Happy Few is now set to release in Summer 2018 on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
Update: Over on the forums, Compulsion Games have stated that they've heard the feedback regarding the new pre-purchase price not meshing well with the game's Early Access state. As no further Early Access updates will make it into the game, the studio will do two things. Firstly, refunds will be available for all Steam purchases, regardless of time played. Secondly, the buy button will be temporarily removed starting February 1st. It will be re-enabled closer to launch. You can find the post detailing their reasoning here.
