Marvel's Spider-Man First DLC Release Frustrates the PlayStation Community

Today marked the release for the first DLC for Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man. Many were excited to start playing until they were greeted with blank screens.

Insomniac explained that the DLC was available at 9:30 am but when fans attempted to download it they were greeted to a blank grayed out page, seen above. Insomniac Games attempted to explain to the community they only knew that the DLC would be offered this morning and are unable to further elaborate. Sony has been more tight-lipped and hasn't offered any responses to fans asking about the ETA of the DLC which has added more fuel to the fire.

The Heist is one of three DLCs being offered as post-launch content for Marvel's Spider-man. This campaign has Spider-Man teaming up with Black Cat as she returns to NYC. Considering the poor launch of this first piece many fans will likely wait before pre-ordering digital content until it's actually available. It should also be noted that fans have commented that this is a recurring theme within the PlayStation Store, especially when it comes with DLC content.

Marvel's Spider-Man is now available for PS4.

Update: The DLC is now available for download as of 11:02 EST.
