Netflix and Capcom have announced a new Resident Evil show will be coming in 2021. Entitled Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, the animated series will follow protagonists Leon Kennedy and Clair Redfield as they battle a new terrifying danger. The show will focus on suspense to really hammer in the horror tone and feel. Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi has been assigned to lead the project in a producer role. Kobayashi had previously worked on several Resident Evil Games as well as animated films like Resident Evil: Degeneration and Resident Evil: Vendetta. Quebico will be the studio behind the actual animation.
