Thanks to a dataminer, it seems that gameplay screenshots of the upcoming Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have leaked online. These screenshots come after the pre-order bonuses leaked a few days prior, meaning it seems that the game will most likely reach its expected release window.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was initially announced back in 2017 by Massive Entertainment, who said that their next project would be based on James Cameron's Sci-fi movie franchise, Avatar, and would be working alongside Farcry 3 developer Ubisoft. Fast forward to E3 2021, when we finally get our first trailer. The game was supposed to be released alongside Avatar: The Way of Water, which was released in December 2022. However, Ubisoft delayed the game's release to the next summer, and while no reason was given, the developer did imply that the game would not be ready by the initially announced release date.

While information about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been incredibly scarce, it seems that the dataminer, ScriptLeaksR6 has taken matters into their own hands and has shared their findings on Twitter. ScriptLeaksR6 is the same dataminer that had previously leaked the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. Among the shared screenshots, we can see a player Na'vi facing off against a Mitsubishi MK-6 Amplified Mobility Platform, or AMP suit for short.

While the screenshots themselves seem to be authentic, especially due to the accuracy of the suit compared to the ones seen in Avatar movies, many Twitter users weren't so easily convinced. They pointed out some of the flaws and issues seen in the screenshot. One of these issues has to do with the perspective of the image, as the average Na'vi height is around 9'10" tall, yet in the screenshot, the Na'vi character seems only to be roughly 6 feet tall when compared to the size of the AMP suit.

While many weren't convinced about the authenticity of the screenshots, the dataminer shared another image that would ease those concerns in the second image that ScriptLeaksR6 shared, which seems to have been taken from an in-game cutscene. The screenshot shows an accurately sized Na'vi riding a Mountain Banshee and says they will share gameplay soon.

With these new leaks, it seems that gamers finally have a glimpse at Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which Massive Entertainment has been pretty tight-lipped about alongside their unannounced Star Wars game. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S sometime during Ubisoft's next fiscal year, which ends in March 2024.
