Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Announced

Gearbox Software has announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is in development by 2K Australia. Taking place between Borderlands and Borderlands 2 players will have the chance to witness Handsome Jack's rise to power as CEO of the Hyperion corperation. Four new characters will be playable that include Nisha the Lawbringer, Athena the Gladiator, Wilhelm the Enforcer and Claptrap as the Fragtrap. In addition to the new characters a different landscape was shown introducing a low-gravity and minimum oxygen atmosphere.

Currently Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is slated for release on Fall 2014 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. What do you guys think, is this the right move for the Borderlands franchise or would you rather have Borderlands 3?
