Destiny 2 Release Date Possibly Leaked
PlayStation 4 users may get first beta access
News by TAYLOS on Mar 24, 2017
Although it cannot be officially confirmed yet, it appears as though the release date for Destiny 2 has just been leaked online by a multitude of sources. According to one source on NeoGAF, a user by the name of josecitoxnyo posted a picture of what appears to be a promotional poster that has been sourced from a GameStop located somewhere in Italy.
The poster reads, “8 Settembre” which in English translates to September 8th. Although no year is listed on the poster, Activision confirmed a month ago during its fourth quarter 2016 earnings meeting, that a sequel is still on schedule for a 2017 release. Meanwhile, another poster surfaced on Imgur yesterday that indicates Activision is once again partnering up with PlayStation and will market it as a play-it-first beta for the PS4. Although no official date has been announced for the beta, word is expected to come down soon from Activison.
Yesterday, Bungie hosted a live stream presenting a gang of new and improved gear and weapons from Destiny’s final update, Age of Triumph which went live today March 28 at 10am, PT. Check out the official trailer below.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the official announcement of Destiny 2.
