F1 25 My Team 2.0 Gets A Revamped Mode and New Contract System
F1 25's MyTeam mode levels up: more management, more strategy, but no last-gen!

EA Sports F1 25 is launching in May and is the first F1 game specifically for next-generation consoles like PS5, boasting stunning graphics and improved gameplay. The beloved MyTeam mode is getting a significant overhaul. In this mode, you serve as the full-time team manager, concentrating on high-level decisions such as driver recruitment, budget management, and technology enhancement.
If you still have to drive, you can also get in the cockpit as one of your signed drivers. F1 25 is on track to become the most engaging simulation game yet, thanks to more sophisticated management resources, practical contract negotiation abilities, customizable team graphics, and more challenging strategic selections.
EA Sports F1 25 is coming out pretty late in May, so this time, they are going major. This will be the first F1 game from Codemasters designed only for next-generation systems, like the PS5, rather than for older ones like the F1 2020 on PS4 (as they have done historically). This gives developers a real chance to go all out with the graphics and play since there is no support for last-generation consoles. They are using the improved equipment fully to give the game a much more sophisticated appearance and feel.
One of the largest modifications is occurring in the MyTeam mode, which was once very popular. MyTeam enables you to play as a driver as well as a team owner, so you can build your own F1 team, whether you're familiar with it or not. You'd manage budgets, plan race strategies, actually drive the car during races, and handle everything, from designing car components to handling everything. Although it has been a fan favorite for years, they are changing things up in F1 25.
You will now concentrate more on being the team owner rather than attempting to juggle being the boss and the driver. Imagine you are taking over the helm behind the scenes of a Christian Horner or Toto Wolff-type character. You will have to make the major decisions that direct the course of your group. Though now it is more about managing the bigger view rather than micromanaging every little thing yourself, you will still be in charge of stuff, including engineering, finances, personnel recruitment, and driver signing.
For instance, every weekend, you will have to sign two drivers to drive for your team. But here's the fun part: you can still get behind the wheel and drive if you wish! During events, you only need to choose one of your signed drivers to take charge of. So, you are not totally losing that practical knowledge; it is now optional.
The engineering front is also seeing a big improvement. Nowadays, the research and development process is much more complex. You'll have to determine where to allocate your wealth. Will you produce a new part that benefits both drivers equally? Or do you offer one driver an edge to improve their performance? These sorts of decisions will have a significant effect on how your season progresses, so you will have to consider them.
The contract system is also something different. Previously, you could only bargain with one driver at a time; however, during contract periods, you can now converse with many drivers. This offers more choices for creating your lineup. Hiring individuals for various divisions, including engineering, marketing, or operations, lets you grow your off-track staff as well. Having more personnel means your team operates more effectively, but there is a downside: more staff results in rising costs. Therefore, you will have to monitor your budget to prevent overspending.
Also new is a team editor that allows you to change your team's appearance more than ever before. Changing elements, including your vehicle's livery, logo, and general visual identity, will help your team be seen on the grid. You can truly be creative since it is far more sophisticated than what we have observed in earlier games.
All these improvements are intended to help MyTeam seem more genuine and complex. You are managing a complete Formula 1 enterprise rather than simply entering races and modding a couple of components once in a while. You will be guiding your team to championship glory, planning for the long term, and making difficult judgment calls. F1 25 seems like it will provide much more than simply quick automobiles and striking graphics, whether you enjoy creating something from the ground up or are interested in the management aspect of motorsports.
