Fans Demand McCree Nerf

It seems that McCree's flashbang and Fan the Hammer combo is so powerful that fans are demanding that McCree be nerfed.

This combo involves McCree throwing a flashbang to stun a single or multiple enemies for a few seconds before triggering the Fan the Hammer ability to unleash all remaining bullets in McCree's Peacekeeper. This combo has been so successful that it can take down a tank.

Geoff Goodman, principal designger for Blizzard, spoke out on thea thread titled "Please Nerf McCree".

"I've been watching McCree carefully since we've released. McCree's flashbang plays an important role in being a strong option against very fast/agile teams (tracers/genjis/etc). It is also a nice tool to prevent close range devastating abilities and ultimates such as Reaper's Death Blossom.

That said, its probably a bit too good at dealing damage to higher health targets such as Tanks and barriers. I don't have any concrete changes yet, but I'm going to be testing some things internally to see how he plays" Goodman stated.

Goodman clarified that fans "is more likely to see changes than flash at this point" highlighting the more changes are on the way.
