Hollow Knight Sells Over Half A Million Copies, Second Free Content Pack Drops On Halloween

It goes without saying that Hollow Knight is clearly one of this year's highlights. Team Cherry's metroidvania has been out since late February and, aside from a handful of patches, has also received a free content pack. Following that same thread, Halloween will bring The Grimm Troupe, Hollow Knight's second free content pack. This will add a new major quest, boss, four new charms, enemies, friends and custom map markers. The Grimm Troupe will also bring support for three new languages: Russian, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese.

As a last addition, The Grimm Troupe will also bring the full suite of GOG Galaxy features to Hollow Knight. The Switch version hasn't received a release date yet, however, work on it continues. As for sales, Hollow Knight has sold over half a million copies since February. Furthermore, support for Hollow Knight will continue past the second content pack.
