Now, most RPGs offer a very fantasy-oriented experience, with all sorts of things running around. Very few of them offer a more grounded approach, and so when Kingdom Come: Deliverance came out in 2018, it stood out and almost immediately garnered a large following. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers much the same, continuing the story of Henry of Skaltiz. Naturally, the sequel plans to improve upon all the aspects of the first game and bring forth a new and unique experience.

Deep Silver distributed the review copies four weeks before release, which suggests that the game is pretty much complete and that the developers are very confident about it. The first game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, was released in 2018, and it has been almost seven years in the making; we can only hope for what the game has.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, PC, Disk, Specs, Requirements

Warhorse Studios has also revealed the game’s details, including download sizes and specs. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is almost 84 GB on PlayStation 5. Now, that's a really big game, and it generally shows how this new and expansive world is going to shape up.

As for performance on the PlayStation, the game will have a performance mode, where you will get around 60 fps; there will also be a higher resolution mode at 30 fps. The game will also utilize PSSR to basically play it at 4k resolution with 60 fps. Noting the previously revealed specs for the PC version, this seems like a very big achievement.

The game requires an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 2600, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or, AMD Radeon RX 580, and 100 GB of space. The optimal requirements, on the other hand, are an Intel Core i7-13700K, AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, 32 GB RAM, and either NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT with, again, 100 GB of space available.

If anyone pre-orders the game, regardless of which edition, they receive a bonus quest called the 'Lion's Crest.' This questline will ultimately reward you with the Knight Brunswick Armor Set and weapon. The armor is a reference to the statue of the same name found in Prague.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II naturally has a Gold Edition, costing $89.99. The Gold Edition offers a clothing kit and an Expansion pass for the next three expansions. The first game had some pretty great DLCs, from the brilliant A Woman's Lot to the unique 'From the Ashes.'

Overall, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II looks to continue the standards set by the first game and build upon them. It also looks to expand on all its features, bringing in more expanded dialogue, a crafting system, armor pieces, and many quality-of-life features. We also have many clips of gameplay available that are waiting for the embargo to lift, and so far, it looks phenomenal.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II offers a very immersive experience, almost like a simulation. Like the first game, the sequel offers a very authentic and nuanced combat system and a realistic experience. It has pretty much all that you expect from an Open-World RPG. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II comes out very soon, on the 4th of February, and trust me, if you’re a fan of the open-world RPG genre, you shouldn’t miss playing this game.
