Kingdom Come: Deliverance II follows in the footsteps of the first game, continuing the saga of Henry of Skalitz as he resumes his crusade of vengeance and adventure. The Reckoning Quest requires you to locate Sam and a horse within an enemy encampment; this guide shows you how.
To begin, head to the western side of the enemy encampment; it would help if you are wearing the Pragures’ Uniform. It would help by making you blend in to reduce suspicion. But you can follow the same route even if you aren’t, you’ll just have to be extra careful.
Locate The Horse
Your first objective is to locate the horse. It is kept in a specific area within the encampment. The location is marked on the map; from there, it is easy to navigate to Sam’s location rather than moving through the center of the encampment.
Locate Sam
To get to Sam, follow the pathway to the northeast, move through the shrubs, and enter a small area where you’ll see two guards stationed. There will also be a guard that roams around, so it’s important to watch out for timing; stealthily eliminate them and hide their bodies to avoid alerting nearby patrolling guards.
Proceed through a gateway and move behind a tent to reach the door. When you‘re inside, you’ll spot a guard roaming around a wine barrel. You can easily take him out by distracting him. After taking him out, head southwest of the building, where you’ll see Brabant speaking to a prisoner, presumably Sam
To enter the building, climb up a ladder on the side. You can confront Brabant directly, and when his health is reduced to half, he’s going to offer to negotiate. After freeing Sam, he is going to bring up his injuries and suggest being left behind. However, leaving him behind may have negative consequences later in the game.
Instead of leaving him behind, carry him and follow the same path back to the horses; be careful of roaming guards. And once you make it back to the horses, interact to trigger a cutscene. This will complete the quest and lead you to the next part of the story.
By following this guide, the Reckoning Quest can be completed efficiently, ensuring Sam’s survival and progression in the game.
