Microids Reveals New Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh Content

In celebration of the upcoming video game adaptation of Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh, Tintinimaginatio and Microids have released the game's first trailer and some brand new screenshots. Developed by Pendulo Studios, the game was first introduced in August 2022. It will be made based on an iconic adventure from Hergé's album series The Adventures of Tintin, which has sold more than 275 million copies worldwide. 

Famous reporter Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy are in for some wild adventures in Cigars of the Pharaoh. Tintin meets Professor Sarcophagus while on a Mediterranean Sea cruise, and the two of them decide to travel to Egypt to locate the tomb of Pharaoh Kih-Oskh. Tintin and Snowy will travel from Egypt to India via Arabia as they investigate a massive drug trafficking ring operating across the entire Eastern Hemisphere.

 

 

 

 

 

Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh is an adventure and investigation game that places the player at the center of a mysterious Egypt, incorporating all the elements of the Tintin universe and a story full of twists that are part of Hergé's great creative legacy. Pendulo Studios has combined the game's novel and inventive gameplay, letting the player dress up as an investigator/reporter and search, infiltrate, and find clues to solve mysteries through investigation dialogues that are nourished with video sequences, infiltration phases, and even plane and car chases.

Release dates for Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh have been set for 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
