More Storage Space Coming to Destiny
A lot more storage space coming to Destiny with the latest patch
News by Grayshadow on Mar 27, 2015
Destiny players hoping for more storage space will be excited to hear that Bungie has finally updated Destiny’s storage system.
Currently Destiny players can only store 20 pieces of amour, 20 weapons and 20 general item stacks. With patch 1.1.2, releasing before House of Wolves, the new total will be 24 armor pieces, 36 wears, and 24 item stacks.
The vault expansion does come with issues, specifically that Xbox 360 and PS3 users can no longer compare their items from within their vault. This issue is caused by the overall systems memory constraints.
According to UI engineering lead Brad Field this long awaited update was delayed due to players having enough space already. “Very few people have completely full Vaults, but a lot of endgame players are bumping up against the limits,” Brad stated.
Hopefully those looking for more space to store all the new exotics coming soon to Bungie’s latest will be happy with this long overdue addition.
