Publisher Sega has announced the signing of a global toy licensing deal with toymaker Jakks Pacific, to manufacture, market, and distribute toys based on Sonic the Hedgehog video games.

The entire product line, which includes action figures, playsets, plush, collectibles and novelty items, will be shown at this year's International Toy Fair in New York. The event takes place between February 16th and February 19th. Pinball enthusiasts will be happy to hear that a Pinball Track Set is on the way, all with a customizable track, exclusive Sonic Sphere and removable figure.

The Sonic the Hedgehog-themed products are scheduled to launch globally (except for Asia) at some point during this Fall. They will be suitable for fans aged three and older, and priced starting from $4.99.
