Square Enix's Luminous Productions Gets a New Studio Head
Hajime Tabata's replacement has been named
News by Grayshadow on Dec 03, 2018
Back in November Hajime Tabata announced his departure from the company, along with the cancelation of the remaining episodes for Final Fantasy XV with the exception of Episode Ardyn. Now, Square Enix has announced a new studio head, lead programmer for Final Fantasy XV Takeshi Aramaki.
If you head over to Luminous Productions’ official website, a message from Aramaki-san reads as follows:
I’m Takeshi Aramaki, VP of Development at LUMINOUS PRODUCTIONS. I had the honor of being the lead programmer for FINAL FANTASY XV. In developing FFXV, we meticulously pursued the potential of games, from the open world system to the application of emotion-filled AI. This philosophy is ingrained in our staff and LUMINOUS ENGINE, our proprietary creative toolset, and continues to grow each day. We are currently making steady progress on a brand new title. We cannot wait to show you, and we hope that you look forward to its reveal.
Takeshi Aramaki
Final Fantasy XV is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Episode Ardyn is scheduled to release this March with the crossover event with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
