The Mass Effect Trilogy May Get a Remake for the Current Generation
A poll was made in order to know what features players would like to see in the remake

It's November 7, which, if you are a Mass Effect fan, you probably already know it's a date to celebrate, N7. In the light of the annual celebration, we have important news regarding the beloved space epic franchise.
General Manager of BioWare Montreal and BioWare Edmonton, Aaryn Flynn, asked users of NeoGaf, about the features they would like to see if the developers were to remaster the original ME trilogy. In the poll, which also contained a series of answers from the head of the company, several recurring features were mentioned. For example, 1080p/60FPS support, high resolution textures, the incorporation of DLC as an organic element to the game and change in combat mechanics to be more like ME3's. You could say, Aaryn Flynn was asking what "calibrations" to make (it had to be said).
To all the petitions in the "wish list", Flynn had to say the following:
Organic implementation' is definitely what I have in mind [...] [The DLC] should just all be there, as if it never wasn't there (if that makes sense).
Regarding the combat mechanics, the GM wrote this:
ME3 combat mechanics in ME1' comes up relatively often, but it's not on my radar (again, speaking personally). First it would be a helluva lot of work. Second, I hate the idea of us being accused of 'retconning' ME1. Third (and I bet everyone on NeoGAF knows this), there are those who prefer ME1... So given that all that, it doesn't feel like the right thing to do.
Given the date, there will be a special roundtable this evening to discuss Mass Effect. This event will be live-streamed, so stay tunned. Although the remake has not been officially announced and the poll held in NeoGaf was more like a "what if", there is a big chance the great announcement of this afternoon will be that of the original trilogy coming to the current console generation.
