Find And Meet Jack

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Guide, Find And Meet Jack

Meet Jack near the Resident Services plaza on your island to begin the Halloween event that takes place in the evening on October 31st. He will introduce himself as the Halloween supervisor and request your assistance in retrieving some candy.

Give Candy to Jack to Get His Costume Items

The Jack's Robe and Jack's Face costume clothing items can be obtained by giving Jack a portion of Candy twice. It is not advisable to pursue a third piece of Candy or beyond, as he will only provide sets of pumpkins.

Give Candy to Villagers to Get Spooky Items & Lollipops

It is now time to concentrate on your villagers after greeting Jack and providing him with a few pieces of Candy to obtain the Jack's Robe and Jack's Face apparel items.

During Halloween evening, a number of the residents on your island are observed wandering the outdoors in charming costumes. When you can provide them with a piece of Candy as a reward, engage in a conversation to motivate a Trick or Treat interaction.

When you provide Candy to the villagers, you will receive one of five unique Spooky Set items, one of two Spooky Set DIY Crafting Recipes, or a delectable Lollipop. However, the specific items that you will receive each time are determined by chance.

Additionally, there are additional items in the Spooky Set that are not enumerated above. If they are not available, they can be acquired through alternative methods, such as Balloons and Nook's Cranny, after October 31st. We limited the items on this table to those that are exclusively available at the event.

In particular, it is important to be vigilant for any Lollipops that the villagers provide, as Jack will be in pursuit of them. Based on our experience, it is feasible to anticipate receiving a lollipop approximately 25% of the time when Candy is provided to villagers.

Unlock Halloween Items

In addition to the eerie Set items, there are two Halloween-themed Reactions that are exclusively available during this event. These reactions provide new eerie options for expressing yourself in Animal Crossing.

The Scare Reaction is obtained by providing a piece of Candy to a dressed-up villager outside during Halloween, while the Haunt Reaction can be acquired by giving a piece of Candy to Jack.
