Ships in ARK: Survival Ascended – Tides of Fortune have their own Skill Trees. These upgrades improve movement, combat, fishing, storage, and protection. Unlocking everything normally requires Ship Skill Points, but server administrators and single-player users can use console commands to speed up the process.

Open the Ship Skill Menu

Approach your ship and hold the interaction button to open its options. Select the Ship Skills menu to view the available upgrades.

The Skill Tree contains three main paths. Each branch focuses on a different type of ship build, so you can spend points based on how you plan to use the vessel.

Add Ship Skill Points

Open the console by pressing Tab or your assigned console key. Type Skill to display the available Ship Skill commands.

Select Give Ship Skill Points, enter a space, and then type the number of points you want to add. For example, entering 10,000 gives you enough points to purchase a large number of upgrades.

Run the command, and return to the Tides of Fortune Ship Skill Tree. The extra points should be considered accessible Skill Points but each skill still needs to be unlocked individually.

Unlock Every Ship Skill Instantly

The Give Ship Skills command unlocks all available upgrades for the ship at once. You must be operating or driving the correct ship before running this command.

Open the console, search for Skill, and select Give Ship Skills. The ship should upgrade immediately, and any physical additions connected to its skills may appear automatically.

This command can sometimes behave inconsistently while you are driving. If the upgrades do not apply correctly, stop controlling the ship, reposition yourself, and try again while making sure the intended vessel is selected.

Mobility Skill Path

The Mobility branch improves how your ship moves and handles. It includes upgrades connected to speed, manoeuvrability, ramming, and other movement-focused abilities.

This path is useful when you need a faster ship for exploration, escaping threats, or closing the distance during naval combat.

Combat Skill Path

The Combat branch is geared for both PvE and PvP engagements. Its upgrades boost your ship's offensive power and make it better at using its mounted weapons.

Choose this if you plan to be in frequent battles with hostile creatures, enemy ships, or other survivors.

Utility and Gathering Skill Path

The Utility branch is for gathering, fishing, storage, and safer exploring. It has powers including Chum the Waters, Deep-Sea Lures, Ghost Fish, Friend of the Deep, Smoke Screen, and Pickling Bins.

These skills can enhance fishing opportunities, expand inventory capacity, mitigate dangers from hostile species, and enhance the ship’s efficiency on long resource-gathering missions.
